Meeting Call to Order: 12:05PM
Attendance: Catalina Agustin, Jemerson Diaz, JoAnne Heinrich, Warren Hinrichs, Jose Lepervanche, Steve Nguyen, Andrea Siracusa, and Tom Snead.
Guests: We were excited to have three guests join us today - Ryan McKenzie, Christine Payne and Jaime Bavier. Thank you for joining us for our meeting, we were glad you could attend. We look forward to seeing each of you at future meetings, and we hope you will find Top O’ The Rock the Club for you.

Club Business: We were also excited to have Marc Hirst as our newest member. In addition Hung Chen, will be our next new member, as we will vote on his membership next week. Congratulations to both Marc and Chen for taking steps forward in your Toastmaster journey.
Grammarian (Catalina Agustin): Word of the day was credulous (krĕj'ə-ləs). The word means “disposed to believe too readily; gullible.”
Speakers
Speaker : Tom Snead – Tom presented a speech that talked about what our children may be learning from cartoons, and what is it that we want to teach our children.
Evaluations
Master Evaluator was Jose Lepervanche.
Evaluators: Evaluations were handled differently today, as we had three evaluators evaluating Tom’s speech. This was the perfect opportunity for members and guests to learn about evaluations and the evaluation process. The three evaluators were: Andrea Siracusa, Jemerson Diaz and JoAnne Heinrich. Each gave their own evaluation of the speech. Andrea was selected as the Best Evaluator, Congratulations Andrea!
Evaluation Tips (Speaker)
Andrea Siracusa provided some tips on evaluating. She focused on some of the most common methods used in Toastmasters and how each person can excel in evaluating. Andrea will be sending information from the presentation to all members and guests.
