We did not have all the contestants for our scheduled Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest so a regular meeting was conducted.
Speakers:
Jimmy Gardner – Jimmy delivered a practice contest speech titled “Harley Days”. Jimmy shared a story about his experience with the motorcycle squad during his early law enforcement days. Requested time was 5 – 7 min. Actual time was 7:08 min.
Jimmy was evaluated by everyone in the room.

Ryan spoke about buying a car on Ebay. Time was 1:18 min.
Greg spoke about his experience getting stranded on the road. Time was 1:42 min.
Carmen spoke about where she wants to go for vacation (Venice). Time was 1:27 min.
The Club Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest re-scheduled for next week August 31.
Area Contest is scheduled for September 10.
