Speaker – Brian Berry – “Swinging from a Vine” – Brian’s project was from the Advance Story Telling Manual. Brian made excellent use of body language and vocal variety. Projected time was 5-7 min. Actual time was 5:35.

Flor spoke about her favorite school memory. Time was 1:27.

Speaker – Jose Lepervanche – “Lead Yourself” – Jose gave a passionate and entertaining speech based on Project no. 9 (Persuade with Power) from the Communication and Leadership Manual. Jose spoke about his recent experience in D.C. with the Scouts. Projected time was 5-7 min. Actual time was 6:04.
Evaluator – Lorraine Haataia evaluated Jose’s speech. Time was 3:20.

Lorraine – Spoke about effective use of silence when speaking. Time was 1:53.
