MEETING:
Grammarian (William Clifford): Word of the day was "Beguile" (bi'gail). The word means to trick you into doing it. When you are charmed and attracted by it.

Speaker #1: William Clifford. William gave his ice breaker speech, titled “Untitled.” William did a great job in introducing himself to the Club.

Table Topics:
Jose Lepervanche provided an easy way to be Table Topics Masters with the cards. He encouraged to the members to sign up for this role.

We will not be having a meeting on November 25th in celebration of Thanksgiving – but we will have a small holiday party on November 18th. The Club will purchase sandwiches, but we are asking that members bring food. A list of food and drinks will be emailed for people to sign up for an item.

Induction ceremony took place for our two newest members – Pat Hubbard and William Clifford.
An “Area Governor Home Club” ribbon was presented to the Club. As many know, Andrea Siracusa our Club President, is also Area 12 Governor.

Speaker #1: Jemerson Diaz - Jemerson provided an interesting speech from the advanced story telling manual titled “Sweet Sixteen.”
Speaker # 2: Sue Stack – Sue practiced her Humorous Speech for the upcoming contest. Her speech was entitled “Help! I am Gadget Challenge.”
Jemerson received the Best Speaker ribbon.

Welcome Alison, we are looking forward to your ice breaker speech.
Flor Lepervanche was nominated by Catalina Agustin, to serve as our new Secretary – which will relieve Sue of that duty as she continues to be VPE. That motion was second by Andrea Siracusa, and all voted affirmatively.
Congratulations Flor for becoming the new Secretary for our Club.

Speaker : Flor Lepervanche – Flor provided her second speech in the Competent Communicator manual. Titled “How to be a grandmother,” Flor talked to us about her experience as a grandmother and some helpful steps for future grandparents.
