Meeting Call to Order: 12:00PM

Attendance: Jemerson Diaz, Alison Last, Flor Lepervanche, Jose Lepervanche, Andrea Siracusa, Steve Nguyen. Guests: William Clifford and Greg Gaines.


Club Business/Announcements:

Congratulations to Josh Nathanson who will be inducted as our newest.

The Area 12 Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest will take place on September 26 at the Crowne Plaza. We are hoping for a good turn out from Top O’ The Rock. Any members who can attend are encouraged to register. The Club is looking at the possibility of paying for members to attend. The details of that possibility will be disclosed soon.

IT IS TIME FOR DUES. Please get your $45 membership dues into Catalina NOW. The deadline for members is by 9/23/09.

MEETING:

Grammarian (Jose Lepervanche): Word of the day was Logorrhea. The word means “Excessive use of words".

Speaker : Andrea Siracusa - Andrea provided an interesting speech about "Evaluate to Generate".


Evaluations
Master Evaluator was Jemerson Diaz.
Evaluator was JoseLepervanche.


Table Topics:
Alison Last provided the table topic session. Jemerson, Josh, Steve, Flor, and Greg Gaines, a visitor from another Toastmaster Club, had a chance to speak.


Congratulations to Greg Gaines who was voted as the best table topic speaker.
