Meeting Call to Order: 12:05PM

Attendance: Jemerson Diaz, Warren Hinrichs, Marc Hirst, Jose Lepervanche, Steve Nguyen, Andrea Siracusa, Tom Snead, Sue Stach

Club Business: We inducted Marc into the Club, and voted on Hung Chen - who is now one of our new members. Welcome again to Marc and Hung Chen, two of our new members to Top O' The Rock.

Discussion about the need for a nominating committee was held. Elections need to be held in May for the 09-10 officers.


MEETING:

Grammarian (Jemerson Diaz): Word of the day was indolent (in-dl-uh nt). The word means “avoid labor; to be inactive.”

Speakers
Speaker : Steve Nguyen – Steve presented a speech which taught us how to go beyond "groups." How we should adventure out of our own "group" of people, and that we all belong and it is ok to socialize with others.

Evaluations
Master Evaluator was Andrea Siracusa.
Evaluators was Sue Stack.

Table Topics:
Tom Snead provided the table topic session which revolved around Steve's speech about being an individual and fitting in. Speakers talked about items from their high school expereiences to friends. Everyone had a chance to speak.

Congratulations to Marc Hirst who voted as the best table topic speaker.
