Meeting Call to Order: 12:00PM

Attendance: Wanda Brown, Jemerson Diaz, Joanne Heinrich, Jose Lepervanche, Andrea Siracusa, Tom Snead, Sue Stack.

In attendance was Ryan McKenzie. We welcomed Ryan to his third visit of our Club meeting. We are excited that he is interested in joining our Club.

Club Business: We recognized some of our members who during the spring celebrated their membership anniversary with Top O’ The Rock. Those individuals included Tom Snead (10yrs), Jose Lepervanche (8yrs) and Andrea Siracusa (1yr).

A reminder regarding upcoming officer elections were discussed with the members. Anyone interested in taking an officer position needs to contact Sue Stack as soon as possible.

MEETING:

Grammarian (Joanne Heinrich): Word of the day was yearn (yurn). The word means “to be filled with desire; feel sympathy or deep pity.” Example Sentence: She always is yearning to be the best at her job.

Speakers
Speaker : Wanda Brown – Wanda presented an impromptu speech titled “Puppy Love.” She talked about her former dog Baron (AKA – The Brown Baron) and her yearning for a new dog which will be born in May and they plan to name him Wilkey.

Evaluations
Master Evaluator was Andrea Siracusa.
Evaluator was Tom Snead.

Table Topics:
Jose Lepervanche provided the table topic session which revolved around goals and visions. Everyone, expect the speaker, had a chance to participate in table topics. Speakers talked about subjects, such as: goals for the summer; what they have achieved this year; their vision for the next 5 years, and if they had achieved what they set to accomplish five years ago; purpose of their life and their support group.

Congratulations to our guest Ryan McKenzie who voted as the best table topic speaker.
